Boracay’s White Beach among Tripadvisor’s 2026 Best of the Best Beaches in Asia

Boracay has once again solidified its status as one of the best beaches in Asia! 

According to Tripadvisor’s 2026 Traveler's Choice Awards, White Beach secured the sixth spot in the travel platform’s Best of the Best Beaches in Asia list.

On its website, Tripadvisor described the White Beach as a beach that “draws a crowd for good reasons: soft white sand, turquoise waters, and amazing sunsets.”

“It's a great place to swim and snorkel, and when you've worked up an appetite, lots of local dining and drinking joints are just steps away,” it added. 

Topping the list is Banana Beach in Phuket, Thailand, followed by Kelingking Beach in Nusa Penida, Indonesia, in second place.

Ranking third is Radhanagar Beach in Havelock, India, followed by Palolem Beach also in Canacona, India, in fourth. Completing the Top 5 is Mirissa Beach in Mirissa, Sri Lanka.

Located in the municipality of Malay, Aklan, White Beach is the most iconic and sought-after stretch of shoreline in Boracay, renowned for its powdery white sand and breathtaking sunsets.

In 2024, Boracay was named among Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific best islands. It also bagged the title of Asia’s Leading Luxury Island Destination at the World Travel Awards. 

In 2025, it was named among Asia's 'top islands' in Condé Nast Traveler.

The Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best award by Tripadvisor is given to destinations that consistently garner a significant number of outstanding reviews and top ratings from the platform’s community within a 12-month period.  —Jade Veronique Yap/CDC, GMA Integrated News
