Vice Ganda meets Punch, the viral baby monkey in Japan
Vice Ganda has finally met Punch, the viral baby monkey in Japan!
On Instagram Stories, the Unkabogable Star shared a photo of Punch at a zoo in Tokyo.
“Hi Punch,” she simply wrote.
On X (formerly Twitter), Vice detailed how happy she was to meet Punch.
“Success!!!! Nakita ko na si Punch," the "It's Showtime" host said.
"He looks ok. Niyayakap na sya ng malalaking jungoya. So happy!!!” Vice said.
Punch recently went viral after he was caught on cam running toward the stuffed orangutan and finding comfort in it, following an altercation with other monkeys in the Japanese zoo.
He is rarely seen without the toy given to him by the zoo keepers after Punch was abandoned by his mom.
With the absence of his mother, Punch finds emotional support through a stuffed orangutan toy.
Meanwhile, Vice is in Japan with her husband Ion Perez for the Philippines-Japan festival, where "Call Me Mother" will open the event and "And the Breadwinner Is" will also be shown.
