Filipinos applying for a South Korea visa will have to pay a higher visa processing fee starting August 25, 2026, the Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC) announced on Friday.
KVAC said the visa processing fee will increase to P1,000 from P900.
The revised fee will apply to all visa applications submitted on or after August 25.
"We kindly ask applicants to take note of this change when preparing their visa application," KVAC said.
The processing fee covers KVAC's service charge and is separate from any visa fees that may be imposed by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, depending on the visa category. –VBL, GMA News
