Boracay's first hotel-casino opens
Real estate developer Golden TW Realty and Development Corp. has opened the first hotel-casino in the popular island destination Boracay.
In a news release, Golden TW said it opened the KABAN Hotel and Casino Boracay, on September 16, 2026, located at Station 0 within its 23-hectare master plan on the island.
The six-storey, 88-room hotel also features a PAGCOR-licensed 2,000-square-meter casino floor, with table games, slot machines, and electronic gaming options.
Its accommodations range from boutique rooms to a presidential suite.
“KABAN is more than a destination. It is our promise to bring world-class entertainment and heartfelt Filipino hospitality together, creating a place where culture, leisure and celebration come together,” said KABAN president and CEO Kevin Wong.
KABAN also features seven specialty restaurants and dining concepts.
The property developer said the Boracay hotel-casino property is part of its broader investment in Station 0 —an emerging area in Barangay Yapak that the developer is positioning as a new inland leisure and entertainment hub.
Golden TW added it is also developing Boracay Central, a lifestyle mall scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.
About 40% of Kaban's employees are from Aklan, the company said. —AOL, GMA News
