BPI debit cards to be temporarily unavailable on October 24

Clients of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) will temporarily be unable to use their debit cards during select hours starting early Saturday morning, October 24, as the lender will undergo system maintenance activities.

In an advisory, BPI said its debit cards cannot be used for in-store and online purchases and automated teller machine (ATM) withdrawals from 1:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 24.

“Kindly plan your transactions accordingly. Make sure to do your transactions using your BPI Debit Cards ahead of the system maintenance activity to avoid any inconvenience,” the advisory read.

The bank’s credit cards will remain available for purchases and card advances through non-BPI ATMs. Its VYBE platform will also be available to pay bills, buy load, and send or request money within VYBE. —AOL, GMA News
