eTelecare provides customer care services to an online dating firm

MANILA, Philippines - Business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions provider eTelecare Global Solutions will offer a customer care services to subscribers of a major online dating company. In a disclosure, eTelecare president and chief executive John Harris said the company would provide acquisition, billing inquiry, technical support, profile management and retention. The identity of the online dating company was not disclosed. “This leading online dating company has millions of subscribers who live in many countries and speak many different languages. By investing to outperform in people, process and technology, we intend to create real, sustainable value for this client and earn the opportunity to expand our relationship globally," Harris said. eTelecare, which has delivery centers in the Philippines, United States, Nicaragua and South Africa, expanded to Cape Town, South Africa to offer European, North American, Global 1000 and in-country clients BPO services in English, French, Dutch, German, Portuguese, Italian and other European languages in March 2009. “eTelecare was selected to deliver high quality service and achieve performance levels and subscriber retention rates comparable to, or better than, the client’s internal service centers," Harris said. - Ruby Anne M.
