Nickel Asia to ship 880,000 WMT ore to China

Nickel Asia Corp. on Wednesday said it will sell 800,000 wet metric tons (WMT) of saporlite and limonite ore to China.   Mitsubishi Corporation (Shanghai) Ltd. will be its selling agent for the Chinese market, Nickel Asia noted in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange.   Mitsubishi Shanghai is a 100-percent owned subsidiary of Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation.   “We consider this a major step forward with respect to (Nickel Asia’s) marketing strategy in China, as this would enable the company to tap (Mitsubishi Shanghai’s) strong network and access to market intelligence in China,” said Nickel Asia. — VS, GMA News
