Global co-investment program Startup Labs is touring 25 cities in four continents this year in search of investment opportunities in information technology startups, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

It aims to tap into 100 prospective investors and pour capital into 125 prospective enterprises.

In Manila next month, Startup Labs intends to hear pitches from Filipino entrepreneurs and evaluate opportunities involving IdeaSpace, Siemer & Associates, and  ICCP Venture Partners.

“The Philippines is an exciting market with a lot of potential once the entire ecosystem and investors are aligned,” said Startup Labs director Tugce Ergul. “It’s a young, fragmented market , making it more exciting for us. We’ll mix the local investors’ expertise with a global Silicon Valley and Philippine context.”
