One week after giving motorists and commuters a price rollback, oil companies are raising prices of their products again on Tuesday.
Petron, Shell and Chevron are increasing prices of gas, diesel and kerosene effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, radio dzBB reported.
All three firms cited adjustments in the prices of oil in the world market as bases of their price hikes, the dzBB report added.
In a post on its Twitter account, Petron said its price increases include:
- 60 centavos per liter for gasoline
- 45 centavos per liter for diesel
- 40 centavos per liter for kerosene
Chevron and Shell are imposing similar price adjustments, the dzBB report said.
Only a week ago, oil firms announced rollbacks in prices of some of their fuel products.
Last week's rollbacks included:
- 55 centavos per liter for gasoline
- 45 centavos per liter for diesel
- 65 centavos per liter for kerosene
