SPi Global acquires China's Bachieve International

SPi Global has acquired China's Bachieve International Inc., a move that gives SPi access to the business process outsourcing industry in the world's second largest economy.

 

“China is a welcome addition to our global footprint," said Maulik Parekh, SPi president and chief executive. " Having the option of delivering services from China will benefit our existing and future clients with the vast resources and talents available in the region,” he said.

 

With the acquisition, the CVC Capital Partners and Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT)-owned SPi gets to access a new market, Parekh noted.

 

In effect, the acquisition gives SPi added strength when it comes to delivery operations in Asia on top of current operational in India and the Philippines, he added.

 

Bachieve CEO Zhikui Chen said SPi Global is a desired partner. “We are pleased to have attracted a strong partner for our business.
