Five major airlines are transferring flight operations to Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA-3), starting next week when NAIA-3 starts to operate as a full-scale global gateway.

Department of Transportation and Communications spokesman Michael Sagcal said Delta Airlines, KLM, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Emirates will use NAIA-3 starting August.

Sagcal said Delta will use NAIA-3 for flight operations starting Aug. 1 and the others will "move within August."

The five airlines have been operating from the ageing NAIA Terminal 1.
