NGCP: 10-hour brownout in parts of Cagayan on Nov. 5

Parts of Cagayan province may expect a 10-hour brownout on Wednesday, Nov. 5, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

 

In its advisory, the NGCP said the power interruption will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in areas serviced by the Cagayan Electric Cooperative II.

 

The NGCP also said there will be momentary power interruptions from 8 to 8:15 a.m. and 5:45 to 6 p.m. in parts of CAGELCO I-Alcala Substation.

 

Another scheduled power interruption on November 6, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., will affect the entire KAELCO franchise area and parts of CAGELCO I-Carig, Solana and Piat substations. —Joel Locsin/KG, GMA News
