11 firms vie for Clark Green City road network design

Eleven companies intend to join the bidding for the detailed engineering design of some 45 kilometers of roads that constitute the major road network of Clark Green City, the state-owned Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) said. 

The firms that bought the eligibility documents were: 
 
  • DCCD Engineering Corporation

  • Design Science Inc.

  • E.H. Sison Engineers Company

  • Foresight Dev't Surveying Company

  • Infra Consultants in the Philippines Inc.

  • Jose Cris Builders

  • Philipp's Technical Consultants Corporation

  • PHILKOEI International Inc.

  • Shema Konsult Inc.

  • TCGI Engineers

  • Urban Intregrated Consultants Inc.
 
"We are pleased with  the response of the private sector in the road design project that will define the major road network for the 288-hectare Clark Green City, "BCDA President and CEO Arnel Paciano D. Casanova said.
 
Aside from the road network design, the winning bidder will also design the Clark Green City Business Center.
 
The BCDA intends to immediately construct the major road network and the business center. 
 
"This will send a strong signal to encourage prospective locators to start investing in Clark Green City," Casanova said.
 
The main outputs expected from the consulting services are the detailed engineering design services, environmental and social mitigation plans in accordance with international safety policies, and traffic study.
 
The engineering design for the major road networks and the Clark Green City Business Center has an approved budget P9,889,600.00, inclusive of VAT and all other applicable government taxes.
 
The eligibility documents are expected to be in on or before 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, at the BCDA Corporate Office in Bonifacio Global City. – VS, GMA News
