Oil firms lower gasoline prices, raise diesel and kerosene

A number of oil companies have rolled back prices of petroleum products on Tuesday, but increased the pump prices of diesel and kerosene. 

 

Flying V, Petron Corp., PTT Philippines Corp. and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. rolled back the price of gasoline by P0.25 per liter. 

 

But the companies have increased the price of diesel by P0.35 and kerosene by P0.20.

 

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp earlier announced similar adjustments while Phoenix Petroleum lowered gasoline prices by P0.30 and increased diesel prices by P0.30.

 

Petron and Shell adjusted prices at 12:01 a.m., followed by Phoenix Petroleum and PTT Philippines at 6 a.m. Tuesday. 

 

Eastern Petroleum lowered gasoline prices as early as 6 p.m. on Monday and increased the price of diesel at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday. – Keith Richard Mariano/VS, GMA News
