Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Monday said certain runways at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will be closed from November 16 to 20 to give way for the arrival and departure of delegates to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Manila.

Due to the closure of the runways, the flag carrier said it will be disclosing the list of flights which will be directly affected.

“The said affected flights shall be announced as soon as the concerned government authorities provide the official schedule of runway closures,” the airline said on Monday.

“It is PAL’s aim to operate or consolidate as many flights as possible, as allowed within this period,” it added.

PAL passengers with confirmed tickets within November 16 to 20 have the option to rebook their flights. The airline is waiving rebooking and penalty charges.

Affected passengers may call the PAL hotline (02)855-8888, visit any PAL ticket office or log on to www.philippineairlines.com.
