More flights canceled for APEC Summit

Another airline has canceled flights to give way for the arrival and departure of foreign dignitaries attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Manila on November 18 and 19.
Skyjet Airlines which flies to and from tourist destinations in Caticlan, Palawan and Batanes has revealed its cancellations on the heels of the announcements by Philippine Airlines (PAL), Cebu Pacific and AirAsia Philippines.
"The Manila International Airport Authority advised airlines of periodic temporary runway closures at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport due to arrival/departure of heads of states attending the APEC," SkyJet said in an e-mailed statement Wednesday.
The airline is either canceling or rescheduling 26 flights from November 16 to 20:

The Skyjet cancellations are on top of the 590 international and domestic flights PAL, Cebu Pacific and AirAsia Philippines have already canceled, including round trip flights, due to the arrival of APEC leaders such as US President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Affected passengers may rebook their flights to other departure dates within 30 days or ask for a full refund. – Keith Richard Mariano/VS, GMA News
