MRT-3 holiday schedule

The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Metro Rail Transit late Wednesday issued a "Holiday Schedule for December 2015" for the MRT-3.

There is no change in the regular weekday train schedule so we are assuming that the MRT will maintain normal operating hours for the mass rail transit system during the holidays.

GMA News Online tried to clarify if the MRT will continue running its regular schedule during the holidays, but calls to MRT General Manager Roman Buenafe were unanswered.

A staff from the DOTC also declined to answer questions on the matter, saying they don't have the authority to do so.

The Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines 1 and 2 will have shortened operating hours while the Philippine National Railways will run fewer trains for the holidays. – Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VS, GMA News
