BDO systems upgrade to affect Monday banking services   

 

??BDO Unibank clients will temporarily experience interruption in certain banking services on Monday as the bank performs a systems upgrade, the bank announced in a statement Saturday.

 

"BDO Unibank will perform an upgrade activity early morning of January 25, 2016, Monday, to accommodate the staggered integration of One Network Bank (ONB) into its system. The Bank has acquired ONB to gain access to high growth areas in Mindanao and Panay and in market segments currently underserved by commercial banks," the statement read.

 

The bank said  the systems upgrade will result in the "momentary unavailability" of the following banking services: Personal & business online banking, mobile and phone banking, debit and cash cards, remittance from 12:15AM to 5AM and Automated Teller Machins (ATMs) from 12:15AM to 6AM.

 

"BDO advises the clients and the general public to do their banking transactions ahead of the scheduled activity to avoid inconvenience," the bank said. — APG, GMA News
