Gas and diesel prices expected to rise P1 to P1.50 next week

Gas and diesel prices may rise from P1 to P1.50 per liter next week, 24 Oras Weekend reported on Saturday.

The Department of Energy (DOE) said there is no specific date for the rate adjustment to take effect.

According to GMA News Research, petrol prices rose five times since January while diesel prices soared four times since the beginning of 2016.

Cumulatively, gas prices rose by P2.50 per liter while diesel prices hiked up to P3.75 per liter. — APG, GMA News
