Aircon-less LRT train stalls in between stations under summer sun
Scores of passengers of the Light Rail Transit approaching the Central Station in Manila had a scary brush with the scorching summer heat on Tuesday after their train with an apparently busted air conditioning stopped in between stations.
De La Salle University student Kurt Ebol posted two videos showing the incident that happened at 9:30 in the morning on Wednesday.
Ebol said the train went to a complete stop without any warning before and after the malfunction.
Passengers in Ebol's coach used the emergency lever to open the doors after 10 to 12 minutes to let the air in.
The passengers at the women's coach were not as fortunate. A woman reportedly nearly fainted after they failed to open the doors.

Another train pushed theirs to the Central Station, where LRT staff reprimanded them for opening the doors.
