Chevron to lower gasoline, but raise diesel and kerosene prices
Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex Philippines) is rolling back the price per liter of gasoline while raising the pump prices of diesel and kerosene.
Chevron on Monday said it will increase diesel prices by P0.35 per liter and kerosene by P0.20. It will also lower the price of gasoline by P0.10 per liter.
The same adjustments will take effect for Flying V, SEAOIL Philippines Inc., and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp.
Eastern Petroleum Corp., PTT Philippines Corp., and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. will also impose the similar adjustments, except for kerosene.
The adjustments will take effect 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14 for all companies except for Flying V which will adjust prices at 12:01 a.m. the same day.
Latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) shows that diesel prices currently range from P25.05 to P28.65, and gasoline from P36.50 to P44.10. – Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
