Fuel prices go down starting Tuesday

Pump prices of diesel, gasoline and kerosene are going down starting Tuesday to reflect adjustments in crude oil prices in global markets.

Flying V, Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and SEAOIL Philippines Inc. on Monday said pump prices of petroleum products will be adjusted as follows:

  • Diesel, down P0.10 per liter
  • Gasoline, down P0.55 per liter
  • Kerosene, down P0.20 per liter

Eastern Petroleum Corp., PTT Philippines Corp., Total (Philippines) Corp. and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. will also implement the same changes, excluding kerosene.

The price adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. Tuesday, except for Flying V and SEAOIL which will implement the changes at 12:01 a.m..

According to data from the Department of Energy, diesel prices in the country currently range from P28.75 to P34.65 per liter, and gasoline from P40.15 to P49.25. — VDS/KG, GMA News
