Pump prices of petroleum products going up on Tuesday

After several weeks of rollbacks, motorists will be greeted by higher prices of petroleum products this week.

In separate advisories, Eastern Petroleum Corp. and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. said they will raise diesel prices by P0.50 per liter, and gasoline by P0.30 per liter.

The adjustments will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19.

Other firms have yet to make an announcement on fuel price adjustments.

According to Department of Energy data, diesel prices in the country currently range from P31.20 to P36.30 per liter and gasoline from P42.55 to P52.41. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
