Diesel, gasoline, kerosene prices to go up Tuesday

Pump prices of petroleum products are again going up on Tuesday, marking the second consecutive week of fuel price hikes.

In separate advisories, Flying V, Petron Corp., SEAOIL Philippines Inc., Chevron Philippines Inc., and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. are raising the price of diesel by P0.30 per liter, gasoline by P0.50, and kerosene by P0.80.

PTT Philippines Corp., Eastern Petroleum Corp., Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc., and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. are implementing the same adjustments, except for kerosene.

The adjustments will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6.

Other companies have yet to make a similar announcement.

According to data from the Department of Energy, diesel prices in the country now range from P34.65 to P40.73 per liter, gasoline from P45.60 to P55.97 per liter, and kerosene from P41.57 to P51.75 per liter. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
