Azure Urban Resorts says it’s talking to unit owners to resolve overcrowding

The management of Azure Urban Resorts Residences in Parañaque City is in talks with unit owners to settle the issue of overcrowding.

“The internal issues raised by our concerned unit owners to your station are already being tackled and handled by the Azure Urban Resort Residences Condominium Corp.,” the management of the residential-resort complex said in a statement.

The corporation is the entity formed by unit owners after the properties were turned over to them developer Century Limitless Corp., a unit of Century Properties Group Inc.

Some unit owners sought the help of GMA News’ “Sumbungan ng Bayan” amid increasing number of guests in the property—a result of cheap short-term lease of units including the use amenities such as the man-made beach.

“For the past months the corporation has been working through open consultations and dialogues with Azure stakeholders including but not limited to the members of the Azure Homeowners Facebook Page community representing unit owner end-users (Non-Short Term Lessors) and unit owner investors (Short Term Lessors), and those based overseas, with the objective of unifying these groups on the use and enjoyment of the facilities and amenities,” the management said.

“The Condominium Corporation will be more than glad to have the same open consultations and dialogues with these unit owners who approached your station,” it said.

Azure said that should unit owners decide to speak directly with the management to resolve the internal issues their request for confidentiality will be honored.

“At this point, the corporation has decided not to grant interviews to focus on the matter at hand and in the spirit of protecting the best interest of all Azure Condominium Corporation members,” it said.

The property in southern Metro Manila, which includes a man-made beach, was endorsed by hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton. —VDS, GMA News
