DTI releases list of certified manufacturers of fireworks, firecrackers

In line with the holiday season, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has released a list of fireworks and firecracker manufacturers certified by the Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS).

According to the DTI, 19 companies have been certified by the BPS as of December 12, 2018:

1. A.G.E Pyrotechnic Enterprises
2. Diamond Fireworks
3. Double L Fireworks
4. Dragon Fireworks Incorporation
5. Global Lions Fireworks Incorporated
6. Golden Leopard King Fireworks Manufacturer
7. Legendary Fireworks Inc.
8. MADZ Firecrackers and Pyrotechnic-Vista Alegre
9. Mary P Diaresco Pyrotechnics Manufacturing
10. Nation Fireworks
11. Pegasus Fireworks
12. Phoenix Fireworks
13. Platinum Fireworks Inc.
14. Purity Fireworks
15. Pyro Kreations Fireworks
16. R and F Fireworks
17. Tiger Fireworks
18. Wow Fireworks Manufacturing
19. Yangco Fireworks

In the same advisory, the DTI also urged the public to buy only brands with the Philippine Standard or PS mark in their packaging.
