Inside WeWork’s first Philippine workspace

It’s more than a workplace — it’s a community space.

This is WeWork’s first location in the Philippines, and it officially launched on Tuesday.

WeWork, a platform founded in New York City, already boasts over 800 members in their two-floor workspace in the Uptown Bonifacio Tower Three Building.

The office — if you could call it that — inspires awe at the first glance.

There are also Mother's room, sound-proof phone booths, and printing stations where members can print documents for free.

And since WeWork goes beyond providing work spaces, they also host events such as Thank God It’s Monday, which is basically free brunch for its members.

They also have Wellness Wednesdays (free yoga or meditation class anyone?), and Happy Hour Fridays (nachos and movies!).

The Philippines is WeWork’s sixth market in Southeast Asia. It is planning on opening another location in RCBC Plaza in Makati in the second quarter of 2019. — LA, GMA News
