Petron Corp. on Tuesday announced a roll back in prices of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products starting May 1.
In an advisory, Petron said it will roll back LPG prices by P0.20 per kilogram. The price reduction is equivalent to a decrease of P2.20 for a standard 11-kilogram tank.
The company will also slash the price of its AutoLPG by P0.10 per liter.
The price adjustments will take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1.
"These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of May," Petron said.
Latest data from the Department of Energy showed a standard 11-kilogram LPG cylinder costs between P615 and P800. — Ted Cordero/RSJ, GMA News
