PHL banks close for Independence Day

Most banks are closed on Wednesday, June 12, for the Philippines’ 121st Independence Day, which is a regular holiday.

Automated teller machines (ATMs) will remain online during the day.

Major banks’ operating schedule:

  • BDO Unibank: All branches are closed
  • Bank of the Philippine Islands: All branches and offices are closed
  • Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank): All branches are closed, while online and mobile banking, automated teller machines, and cash accepting machines are available
  • Philippine National Bank: The following branches are open during the following periods. NAIA 1 (Arrival Area): 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. NAIA 1 (Departure Area):  4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. NAIA 2 (Departure Area): 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. NAIA 3 (Arrival Area): 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.
  • Security Bank Corp.: All branches are closed, except for NAIA and NAIA Terminal 3 branches
  • Land Bank of the Philippines: All branches are closed.
