Gasoline prices to be hiked for 4th consecutive week Tuesday

Pump prices of gasoline will be hiked for the fourth consecutive week on Tuesday, accompanied by an increase for diesel and kerosene.

In an advisory, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said it will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P1.05, diesel by P.070, and kerosene by P0.70.

Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene.

The changes will take effect 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16. Other firms have yet to announce similar adjustments as of posting time.

Excluding this week's announcements, year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P5.15 per liter for gasoline, P3.30 for diesel, and P1.75 for kerosene. —Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/KBK, GMA News
