The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Wednesday warned the public against buying and consuming 12 unregistered food supplements.

The food supplements “may pose health risks to consumers,” the FDA noted but did not elaborate, other than saying that it has ordered its regional offices and enforcement units to make sure the products will not be sold in the market.
