Call center solutions firm Alorica to hire 9,000 new employees across PHL


Call center outsourcing solutions provider Alorica Inc. on Monday said plans are afoot to fill over 9,000 positions across the Philippines.

The positions are available in all of its Philippines sites, including Makati City, Manila, Pasay, Quezon City, and in the provinces, the Irvine, California-based company said.

“As a people-to-people company, our most valuable asset are our employees, as they work daily to create insanely great customer experiences for the clients and consumers we serve,” said Bong Borja, president of Asia-Pacific Operations at Alorica.

It will host a hiring event in its contact centers around the globe on Wednesday, October 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Among the vacant positions up for grabs are front-line agents, and corporate support.

Alorica plans to hire at least 25,000 associates across 100 contact centers worldwide, including 9,000 in the Philippines.

The business process outsourcing company provides customer experience solutions, with a team of over 100,000 employees in 120 locations across 14 countries. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
