Petron Corp. and Solane on Thursday announced an increase in the prices of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products starting November 1.

In an advisory, Petron said it will hike LPG prices by P0.30 per kilogram. The price increase is equivalent to an increment of P3.30 for a standard 11-kilogram tank.

The company will also raise the price of its AutoLPG by P0.20 per liter.

The price adjustments will take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, November 1.

"These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of November," Petron said.

Solane, on the other hand, said it will increase its LPG by P0.24 per kilogram, effective November 1 at 6 a.m.

Latest data from the Department of Energy showed a standard 11-kilogram LPG cylinder costs between P600 and P695. —LDF, GMA News
