FWD Philippines launches online insurance store

FWD Life Insurance (FWD Philippines) has launched its new online insurance-selling platform, Shop@FWD, allowing clients to buy insurance products in “mere minutes.”

The insurance product “KanDüü” is exclusively available through Shop@FWD, offering  the products KanMend, KanLive, and KanGuard, the insurer said Tuesday.

KanMend provides critical illness benefits of P100,000, while KanLive provides a death benefit of P200,000 and KanGuard a cash benefit of P500,000 for financial support in case the insured gets caught in a terrorist attack or accident.

“We’re making insurance more accessible via Shop@FWD. Anybody, from young professionals to breadwinners, can now easily purchase much-needed insurance coverage with the click of a button,” FWD Philippines president Peter Grimes said in a statement.

“… We want to change the way people feel about insurance, and one way to do this is to provide a hassle-free way of purchasing insurance and be instantly covered,” Grimes noted.

According to FWD Philippines, customers need to fill in a one-page application form. No other paperwork or medical exams are needed.

Clients may manage their insurance coverage with FWD Tapp, a one-tap insurance app accessible via mobile phones.

“We strongly believe that insurance should be a convenience, not a burden,” Grimes said. —Joahna Lei Casilao/VDS, GMA News
