Companies and foundations helping out in the Taal Volcano relief efforts
The damage and destruction wrought by the Taal Volcano eruption have sparked a fresh wave of giving from corporations and foundations in the country.
And assistance continue to roll in as the fallout from the natural disaster becomes increasingly clear.
Here is a running list of the ways companies and foundations have been helping.
1. Uniqlo Philippines
The fashion retail brand made a pledge to donate 2.5M Php to help displaced families and communities affected by the eruptions.

2. Jollibee Group Foundation
The fast food chain thanked the Jollibee Group Foundation's partners for contributing to the Taal Volcano relief operations. Its partners include the Anihan Technical School, Laguna; Don Bosco Makati; San Luis, Batangas LGU; Magallanes, Cavite LGU; the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation and the Pondong Batangan Community Foundation.
3. Lazada
E-commerce store Lazada asked for digital donations to help our furry friends who were affected by the volcanic unrest. Lazada App users can now donate Pedigree meals to PETA Asia, an organization that conducts pet rescue operations as the eruptions continue.
4. Landers
Membership superstore Landers announced that it is accepting relief donations at several of branches and on its online website.
5. Megaworld Corporation
Property developer Megaworld Corporation is accepting donations such as first-aid and medical supplies, easy-to-open canned goods, drinking water, batteries and flashlights, among others. Individuals can drop them off at the concierge of select Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
