Cebu Pacific, Cebgo to resume flights on June 2, Tuesday

Cebu Pacific and Cebgo on Saturday announced that they will resume passenger flights on June 2, Tuesday with a limited number of domestic flights.

"We will continue to work with the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), as well as other national and local government authorities, on the rules and requirements to resume commercial passenger flights between areas under a GCQ," it said.

According to an advisory, all flights in Manila will depart and arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

However, all international flights will remain suspended from June 1 to June 30 while leisure travel will remain prohibited amid the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019.

The airline advised passengers to check guidelines issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force as well as the local government of their origin and destination for the necessary documents.

Cebu Pacific said it will provide updates on flights scheduled from June 5 and onwards.

"We will gradually build-up our domestic flight network, depending on market demand, quarantine restrictions, and government regulations," it said.

Meanwhile, passengers with canceled flights from June 1 to June 30 may rebook their flights for travel within three months, place the full cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund valid for one year, or avail a full refund. — DVM, GMA News
