List of GCash services without charges


Several services of GCash will remain free of charges, the company clarified Sunday, after it announced that bank transfers will be charged with fees starting October.

In a post made via social media, GCash said the following services have no charges:

  1. Cash in online via linked BPI, UnionBank, PayPal, &Payoneer
  2. Cash in over-the-counter
  3. Send money to any GCash account
  4. GCredit (interest fee depends on loan amount)
  5. International remittances (Receiving from Western Union, MoneyGram, Alipay HK, etc)
  6. Buy load
  7. Pay bills
  8. Save money
  9. GCash Insure
  10. Pay QR
  11. Shop online
  12. KKB
  13. Request money
  14. Book movies

Meanwhile, the following have fees:

  • Cash in over-the-counter (2% fee for more than P8,000)
  • Bank transfer (P15 per transaction effective October 1)
  • Cash out withdrawal (P20 via Mastercard, P20/P1,000 for over-the-counter)

Just last week, GCash said bank transfers will be charged with fees starting October 1, 2020.

On Saturday, GCash urged users to link their Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Union Bank of the Philippines accounts to their mobile wallet to avoid paying bank transfer fees. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
