Gasoline, diesel, kerosene prices to be rolled back Tuesday

Motorists will pay less for petroleum products this week, as firms on Monday announced a rollback following three consecutive weeks of hikes.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will reduce prices per liter of gasoline by P0.15, diesel by P0.10, and kerosene by P0.10.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The changes will take effect 6 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26 for all firms except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices 8:01 a.m. the same day.

Latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) shows that year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P2.30 per liter for gasoline, P1.65 per liter for diesel, and P1.60 per liter for kerosene. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/RSJ, GMA News
