Gasoline price up, kerosene down Tuesday

Motorists will be greeted with heftier pump price of gasoline this week, while that of kerosene will be rolled back for the second consecutive week.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will hike price per liter of gasoline by P0.25 and roll back that of kerosene by P0.25, while keeping diesel price unchanged.

Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which it does not carry.

The changes will take effect 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2.

Cleanfuel said it will keep prices of its products unchanged for the week, while other firms have yet to make similar announcements.

Latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) showed that year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P2.15 per liter for gasoline, P1.55 per liter for diesel, and P1.50 per liter for kerosene as of January 26, 2021.—AOL, GMA News
