Some Maynilad customers experience service interruption

Some customers of Maynilad did not have water supply from noon until Saturday evening due to an emergency service interruption, according to a report on “24 Oras Weekend.”

From 12 noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, some areas in Quezon City, Makati City, Parañaque, Navotas, Caloocan, Malabon, Manila, Las Piñas, and Imus in Cavite are affected.

This was due to the increase in turbidity or the cloudiness of the water from the Ipo Dam.

Maynilad said turbidity may increase in the following days due to the southwest monsoon or the Habagat. -Joahna Lei Casilao/MDM, GMA News
