SSS extends deadline for ACOP compliance to Oct. 31, 2022
The Social Security System (SSS) announced it has extended the deadline for compliance with the Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP) to October 31, 2022.
"Dahil ito ang inyong kahilingan...ang deadline para sa Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP) program ay muling in-extend mula ika-30 ng Hunyo hanggang ika-31 ng Oktubre, 2022!" the SSS wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Retirement pensioners living in other countries, total disability pensioners, and survivor pensioners including dependent children (minor or incapacitated) and guardians are required to comply with ACOP.
Retirement pensioners living in the country though need not comply with the ACOP.
Those who will not be able to comply with ACOP by October 31, 2022 will have their pensions suspended beginning January 1, 2023, the SSS said.
The SSS requires pensioners to submit ACOP for updates on their personal information and condition. Pensioners have to fill out a form and send it with a photo of them holding a newspaper with the current date.
The ACOP pensioner's reply form may be downloaded from the SSS website.
Accomplished forms may be sent to SSS branches or through email.
Starting Nov. 1, 2022, the following schedule will be followed for ACOP compliance, the SSS said:
- Retirement pensioner living abroad: month of birth
- Total disability pensioner: month of birth
- Survivor pensioner: month of birth of deceased member
- Dependent (minor/incapacitated) including guardian: month of birth of member/deceased member
