LRWC changes name to DigiPlus Interactive Corp.

Leisure and Resorts World Corp. (LRWC) on Tuesday announced the official change of its name to DigiPlus Interactive Corp., after receiving approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

In a disclosure to the local bourse, the company said the name change took effect on February 28, 2023, the same day it received the Certificate of Filing of Amended Articles of Incorporation from the corporate regulator.

It also fully owns Total Gamezone Xtreme Inc., the assignee and purchaser of the assets, rights, and interests of Digiwave Solutions Inc., which operates and is a licensee of PAGCOR eGames stations.

"As the company welcomed this change, we strategically thought and created a stronger identity that will help us become the best version of what we are as a company — fun, innovative, digitized, technologically advanced, and most of all, collaborative," DigiPlus president Andy Tsui said.

"We’re very thrilled to share with all of you what we have prepared this year," he added.

Other subsidiaries of the company include Blue Chip Gaming and Leisure Corp., First Cagayan Leisure & Resort Corp., LR Data Center Solutions Inc., AB Leisure Global Inc., LR Land Developers Inc., Bingo Bonanza (HK) Limited, Prime Investment Korea Inc., and Hotel Enterprises of the Philippines Inc.
