Diesel prices seen to go down by P1.70/liter, gasoline down by P1.10/liter
The prices of fuel products are expected to go down next week, a fuel company said in its forecast on Saturday.
"Diesel should go down by P1.70 to P1.80 per liter," Unioil said in its forecast for March 21 to 27.
Meanwhile, the prices of gasoline may decrease by P1.10 to P1.30 per liter, it added.
An oil industry source told GMA News Online on Friday that pump prices of petroleum products are expected to roll back in the coming week.
Citing oil trading in the past four days (March 13 to 16), the source told GMA News Online the price per liter of diesel may go down by P1.70 to P1.90.
Gasoline prices, meanwhile, may decrease by P1.00 to P1.20 per liter.
Oil companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday, to be implemented the following day.
On Tuesday, March 15, fuel companies implemented price adjustments, hiking prices per liter of gasoline by P1.00, while reducing those of diesel by P0.10, and kerosene by P0.60. —KG, GMA Integrated News
