Maynilad customers in parts of NCR, Cavite to be waterless until March 21

Some customers of Maynilad Water Services in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Cavite will have daily water service interruption until March 21.

This is "due to prolonged high raw water turbidity brought on by Amihan winds," the company said in its advisory posted on social media.

Affected are customers in some barangays in Las Piñas City, Muntinlupa City and Parañaque City in NCR, as well as Bacoor City, Cavite City, Imus City, Noveleta, and Rosario in Cavite.

The list of affected barangays is posted on the company's Facebook account.

Maynilad advised its customers to store enough water.

"Upon resumption of water service, please let the water flow out briefly until it clears," it said.

The company said its mobile water tankers are going around the affected areas to deliver potable water, while its stationary water tanks can be found in several areas.

Maynilad apologized to customers for the inconvenience. —KG, GMA Integrated News
