By JON VIKTOR D. CABUENAS, GMA Integrated News
In a Sunday advisory, Petron Corp. said it will hike LPG prices by P0.85 per kilogram and AutoLPG prices by P0.48 per liter in May following the rollback implemented by oil firms this month.
“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of May,” the advisory read.
The adjustments will take effect at 6 a. m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2023. Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the month.
Firms implemented a big-time rollback last month, cutting LPG prices by as much as P9.20 per kilogram.
Latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that household LPG prices in Metro Manila ranged from P934.00 to P1,118.00 per 11-kilogram cylinder as of February 1, 2023. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
