LTO-NCR revenue collection hits P8.1-B

The Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) revenue collection for 2023 has reached  P8.1 billion, according to its yearend report released on Saturday. 

This year's revenue collection is higher compared to 2022 which was P7.82 billion.

"We appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of all LTO-NCR employees who have contributed to this outstanding revenue collection. As we enjoy our holidays, siguraduhin rin nating magiging handa ang ating opisina para sa susunod na taon at sa mga pagsubok na haharapin natin," said LTO-NCR Regional Director Roque Verzosa III.

LTO-NCR, meanwhile, said that the agency has already rolled out plans and activities to sustain its success and provide better service to the public.

The agency said these include heightened focus on its Traffic Safety Unit, conducting road safety seminars, and other initiatives such as LTO-on-Wheels and E-Patrol.
 
Verzosa also assured the public that the improvement of LTO-NCR's services will continue without interruption. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
