GCash to undergo maintenance on March 20, 21

Users of mobile wallet GCash will not be able to access the application on select hours of March 20 and 21.

In an advisory, GCash said the app will be undergoing maintenance “so some services will be unavailable” on the following time-slots and dates:

• March 20, 12:01 a.m. - 2 a.m.
• March 21, 12:01 a.m. -  6 a.m.

“Please plan your transactions accordingly,” GCash said.

GCash —  which had over 79 million registered users as of May 2023 — is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mynt (Globe Fintech Innovations Inc.), which is in turn a partnership between Globe Telecom Inc., the Ayala Corp., and Ant Financial. —Ted Cordero/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
