Manila Water, Maynilad announce service interruptions for early April
Customers of Manila Water and Maynilad are set to experience up to eight hours of service interruptions this week, as the concessionaires undertake maintenance activities.
In an advisory, Manila Water said it will implement service improvement activities in the following areas from 10 p.m. on April 8, 2024 to 4 a.m. on April 9, 2024:
Pasig City
Activity: Leak Repair
Location: Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue, Maybunga, Pasig City
Affected areas: Parts of Barangay Maybunga
Taytay, Binanganona & Angono, Rizal
Activity: Gear Box Replacement
Location: Manila East Road (fronting Shell), Angono, Rizal

“Pinapayuhan ang mga apektadong customer na mag-ipon ng sapat na tubig bago ang scheduled interruption. Pagbalik ng water service, hayaan munang dumaloy ang tubig nang panandalian hanggang sa luminaw ito,” the advisory read.
(Affected customers are advised to store enough water ahead of the scheduled interruption. Upon resumption of the water service, let the water flow temporarily until it becomes clear.)
Maynilad currently serves customers in the west zone, which covers the cities of Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon Manila, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon, Valenzuela. It also services certain areas in Cavite such as the cities of Bacoor, Cavite, and Imus; and the towns of Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario.—RF, GMA Integrated News
