GCash to undergo one-hour system maintenance on Feb. 19, 2025

GCash, operated by G-Xchange Inc. (GXI), will undergo a one-hour system maintenance on Wednesday, February 19, making its services temporarily unavailable.

In an advisory, GCash said the system maintenance will be conducted from 12 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Wednesday. Further details were not disclosed.

“Please plan your transactions ahead to avoid any inconvenience,” the advisory read.

The app also went through a system maintenance last week.

GCash is registered with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as a non-bank financial institution electronic money issuer (EMI-NBMF). It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mynt (Globe Fintech Innovations Inc.), which is in turn a partnership of Globe Telecom Inc., the Ayala Group, and Ant Financial. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VBL, GMA Integrated News
