Cebu Pacific passenger volume up 26.3% in February 2025
Budget carrier Cebu Pacific announced Friday it flew 2.2 million passengers in February 2025, up 26.3% from 1.7 million passengers in the same month last year.
In a news release, Cebu Pacific reported that its seat load factor (SLF) grew to 86.8% in February from 85.3% year-on-year.
Domestic passengers during the period reached 1.608 million, up 28.9% from 1.25 million in the same month in 2024.
International passenger traffic, likewise, grew by 19.6% to 560,000 from 468,000.
Year-to-date, Cebu Pacific reported that its passenger traffic had grown to 4.74 million, up 30% from 3.646 million in the same period last year.
"February traffic remained strong, surpassing capacity expansion and improving seat load factor across both our domestic and international networks. Considering that February is typically not a peak travel month for most Filipinos, these results reinforce our confidence that the market has already absorbed the additional capacity we've introduced of last year," said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific chief marketing and customer experience officer.
